I overloaded myself on work yesterday and today. I did workout yesterday, but instead of cooking I sent the Nemesis to pick us up something from the grocery store deli. I don't even want to think about the carbs I have consumed in those potatoes and gravy. Looking over my menu's the last few weeks that is really the only place I fail is on take out or eating out. Arrggh, I cannot blame the Nemesis yesterday because I told him to do it.So I openly acknowledge that and know I must simply make the time to cook at home. Even if it's just a ham on whole wheat it would be better than eating steak smothered in gravy and potatoes. I looked at that plate last night and thought, "What on earth is the point of busting my ass until I almost drop for an hour a day if I am going to do this late at night?" So hopefully by acknowledging it I will do better. We all have cheat days from time to time, but I have simply got to buckle down.
I am running so behind in so many areas. Today is an office day for me. I will be working online all day, but instead of the weights today I am going to attempt a mile or two walk. Yesterday at the gym there was a little old lady in her late 70's using a walker, but she still got on the tread mill for five minutes and did arm weights. I found that really awesome. If she can do it, I know any of us can do it.

*Also I keep mineral water on my desk, kitchen, and even a couple of bottles in my car. So there really is no way to keep up with my water intake as I drink all day.*

Ah, Bless the soul of that older lady with a walker working out at the gym!
Me ;o)
Gab,
We're following your line of logic in this and other posts. It seems as a whole group ... we are starting to think the same way. Each is becoming more aware of the things that need work and less likely to beat oneself up about it. I think this comes from watching the way you post. EXCELLENT!
Need to watch the "ass" comment ... Umm, maybe there is a kinder expression for that unappreciated torso johnny come laterer!??
;)
