I'm still alive by Darla...

Baby Nia: "Daya you're tired? Hmmm.. wonder why she's tired? We only played 12 hours yesterday and today."

Me:
"Yep, you pooped me out from all of that playing yesterday and today."

Baby Nia: "Well, you'd better get a second wind because I want to play MORE!"

Me: "Ok, I can't resist your sweet little face...What should we play next?"

Baby Nia: "I knew you'd see things my way...I just want to play some MORE. Now I'm happy again! I took my slipper off again. You can put it back on my foot but I'm going to take it off again and again and again!"

Me: "I'm glad you're happy again...now give me that slipper before you try to eat it again!"

Baby Nia: "Geez, so many rules to follow! I love you, Daya, but you make me crazy!"

Me: "I love you too, sweetie. Don't put your juice bottle (thinking...wonder how many carbs are in that juice) in your mouth...No, No, No..."

Baby Nia: "What's with everybody saying 'No, No, No' so much now?"

Baby Nia: "I had lots of fun, Daya. See you next Tuesday bright and early. Bye, Bye..."

Me: "I'll be rested and ready to play some more by then." Be good for mommy and daddy and give your brother a hug from me too."

Then I'm ready to fall over and am dead tired! But I hear Nia yelling "Daya" over and over again while her mom puts her in her car seat and she's waving and waving. It makes my heart smile!

Hi girls! That's a little of what I've been up to over the last few days. Sorry I got behind, but today's catch up day for me. It was nice to see TJ stop by~~Hi TJ~~and Ayn, thanks for posting your picture with your new toys! I can tell you lost weight in your face from the picture you have up on your blog! YEAH! Lori~sounds like you have a good plan. I know you can do it! Just take baby steps and we're all here to cheer you on! Gab, you are being really hard on yourself...You had a couple of days when you ordered out, but not many! I think you're doing a great job!

My daughter is sick too. She was up all night coughing but had to go to school because they're having PSSA tests, so I told her to call when they're done and I'd arrange for her to come home to rest.

I've been doing okay on my menu, exercise & water, except for night before last when I had cookies and potato chips (I won't post calories, carbs that day because I don't know how many I ate). I am finally making friends with the treadmill. I find that if I do it when nobody's here and put on my CD player headphones, Madonna and I can make 10 minutes go a lot faster than silence. Darla - That was the most wonderful expose between you and lovely face! I can see where she's concerned realistically over the rules. "What? Why can't I bop myself in the head with the juice bottle? Better it be with a horse shoe? What's wrong with you woman!" :)

I give you a tremendous amount of points on the treadmill. I was going to try music and I didn't get too far forward in the right direction. We'd forgotten, but part of that is that we like so much the computer music, we don't want to go back to regular radio and I don't have a devise to record music for the treadmill. I also don't own tapes and CD's. So, obviously I'm going to have to think harder. You made it all seem so easy ... I'm encouraged by your thoughts that music DOES make the time go past easier.

I remember a time when I've exercised in the past. We had a huge mirror in the big hall to keep us company and we'd play Madonna too. I think that was her ... Favorite song, "Girls just want to be girls!"
